| Robert DeMent has been an RSVP Volunteer since August of 2005. Bob currently volunteers at Mid-Continent Airport where he provides information to Wichita travelers. If you have ever been to the airport and noticed the information booth as you make your way to the security check point, you have seen RSVP volunteers at work. Volunteers are asked all kinds of questions. Volunteers have to be aware of upcoming events, current city activities, giving directions, as well as good local restaurants. Bob says that “participating as a volunteer has been rewarding in that I’m benefiting agencies that need assistance in various categories and focusing beyond retirement with a defined purpose. I |
