The Aging and Diability Resource Connection (ADRC) is a program with the intent to streamline access to long-term care services and supports for customers of all ages, income levels, and disabilities.  It is a one-stop shop program that helps people make informed decisions.

One of the services provided by the ADRC is options counseling.  This interactive decision-support service is available to consumers and their families at no cost.  Using a comprehensive service data base, staff from the Central Plains Area Agency on Aging work with the individuals to determine appropriate long-term care choices, taking into consideration the consumer’s needs, preferences, values, and individual circumstances.  Options counseling is a process that takes place over time and can involve several in-person and telephone meetings.  Unsure about where to begin or what assistance you or the senior in your life needs?  Contact Information and Assistance at 316-660-5120 or 800-367-7298 for information on social service programs available to you and your loved ones.
