Transportation - Butler County Department on Aging

Transportation Services Provided:  Transportation runs in Augusta and El Dorado 8:30-4 Monday-Friday and Andover 8-12 Monday though Friday.  Pick up around Butler County on Wednesdays and Thursdays for trips to Wichita.  Other outlying areas are scheduled on a case by case basis as drivers and vehicles are available.  All rides must originate in Butler County.  Service is curb-to-curb. 

Cost:  $.50 per stop in town (El Dorado, Andover, and Augusta).  $8 round trip to Wichita.  $4 round trip town to town within the County (Augusta to El Dorado, Leon to El Dorado, Douglass to Augusta, etc.).  Ride Cards may purchase ride tickets for in town use, which give you 25 rides for $10.00.  

Eligible Riders:  The general public (under 18 must be accompanied by adult).  All passengers must be able to get to and from the bus on their own or have an attendant ride with them.  Attendants ride free.  All vehicles are wheel chair accessible. 

How to schedule ride:  Call 316-775-0500, first come, first served, please schedule ride with as much advance notice as possible.  Same day service is allowed only if schedule permits.
