CPAAA is the administrator of the Coordinated Transit District (CTD) #12, which encompasses Butler, Harvey and Sedgwick counties and was formed as a result of a state mandate. CTD #12 is one of 15 districts in the state. The CTDs were formed for the purpose of agency collaboration and coordination enhancement among public transit providers receiving federal and state funding. CTD #12 was established in 1994 through an interlocal agreement of the Board of Commissioners of Butler, Harvey and Sedgwick counties and the Paratransit Council, a transportation advocacy agency.
