Get Involved in your community.  RSVP links adults 55 years and older with volunteer opportunities.  The RSVP Volunteer Program is sponsored by the Central Plains Area Agency on Aging.  RSVP offers a wide range of challenging and exciting volunteer experiences throughout Wichita and Sedgwick County including mentoring, assisting individuals in disaster, peer support, mobilize other volunteers, recycling, assist in planning or volunteer at special events.  For more opportunities click on Volunteer Opportunities.  Sedgwick County RSVP works with over 90 non-profit volunteer agencies, all with different needs and varied customers that they serve.

Whatever you choose to do you'll be making a difference:  stronger families, cleaner water, and safer communities.  You'll see first hand how your contributions help your neigbhors in your community.

With RSVP you choose how and where you want to serve.  You choose the amount of time you want to give.  And you choose whether you want to draw on your skills or develop new ones.

In addition, with RSVP you receive pre-service orientation, and training from the organization where you serve, and supplemental insurance while on duty.
